We will attempt to repair any tape that is damaged. VHS tape, 8mm tape, DV etc
Damage can be caused by bad storage, flood or water damage, bad video player, mildew (white powder coating), damaged casing, broken/chewed up tape or canine damage! We have a 90 percent repair rate.
Tape repair is automatic and free with any transfer. You can order your transfer and see the cost of the conversion here:
The full cost will be shown at the top. There is no need to mention the repair, every tape is cleaned and checked prior to transfer.
If any tapes are blank or not required to be transferred (eg TV), a cleaning charge of £10 rather than the full transfer charge will apply per tape.
You will not be charged (or you will be refunded) if the tape can not be recovered fully or in part.
